Blue Pond Media's A.C.T. Programming Now On
Etisalat's eLife OnWeb Service
Endavo Media and Blue Pond Media have executed a content distribution agreement to provide Blue Pond Media’s ACT: Art-Culture-Travel family of channels for multi-screen delivery through Endavo’s OTT Video Services Platform by its global telco TV partners.
“We have an increasing demand for high-quality content of all genres – lifestyle, travel, nature, food, entertainment and others – to support telco’s use of our Platform for global OTT video services,” said Peter Contardo, CMO/Head of Content for Endavo Media. “The programming from Blue Pond Media fills a significant niche for us and is some of the best HD travel, destination and ambient programming ever produced.”
Etisalat, aiming to be one of 10 telecom operators worldwide with presence in 18 countries across the Middle East and Africa, currently uses Endavo for content services in support of its OTT-TV initiative. In 2009, Etisalat licensed Endavo’s Platform to support the roll-out of an OTT video delivery infrastructure over its own Internet and wireless networks.
